I.B.E.W. Local 309 has been in continuous service to it's members and the community for well over one hundred years. Our goal is to provide the best education and training possible to our electricians.

Our Inside Wiremen complete five years classroom education as well as 10,000 hours on the job training prior to earning Journeyman status. Our Residential Electricians complete three years classroom education and an additional three years on the job training before earning Journeyman status. Our Telecommunication Technicians complete three years classroom education and three years on the job training before earning Journeyman Technician status.
